How long does the OEUK certificate last?
The full OEUK is valid for 2 years. In some cases it may need to be renewed more frequently.
Where is the OEUK certificate accepted?
By mutual agreement the Netherlands and Norway will generally accept an unrestricted OEUK medical certificate. If your certificate is restricted, this will not be accepted outside of the UK sector and are valid only for the specific locations agreed by. the installation operator.
What if I need a Fit to Train CA-EBS certificate as well?
We can conduct both examinations within the same appointment. Check out the booking pages and select the bundle you and your employer require.
A valid OEUK medical certificate and an OEUK ‘Fit to Train’ certificate issued by an OEUK examining doctor is required for BOSIET and FOET personnel.
What will I need for my OEUK Medical and what can I expect?
Photographic ID
A full medical, social and occupational history
Audiometry
Urinalysis
Body Mass Index
Appropriate clinical examination
Further investigations as required
Please avoid exposure to loud noise 16 hours prior to your medical, as this may impact your thorough hearing test.
A dental certificate may be required. It is advisable to see your dentist at least annually.
If you are usually a contact lens user, please wear your glasses on the day.
